Telangana visa officer KCR livid with Naidu

Hyderabad : The visa office in Telangana is livid with how a person declared persona non grata by the Chief visa officer, K Chandrasekhar Rao managed to sneak into the region in broad daylight. KCR has issued showcause notices to his field officers after they proved incompetent in stopping Chandrababu Naidu. The latter was ordered tadipaar by KCR from Telangana districts for the last two years.

The Telangana districts are witnessing a shortage of tomatoes and eggs, because the Visa office had ordered them in bulk, on the day Naidu was in Warangal.

What has upset KCR more is that Naidu, who boasts to everyone about the 20-20 perfect vision of his two eyes, even waved his two fingers as he roamed around Warangal. When Tenali Rama asked KCR what action he will take against Naidu, the officer said, “Virat Kohli was fined 50 per cent of his match fee for showing one finger. Shouldn’t Naidu be fined 100 per cent for showing two?”

Naidu has accused KCR of being “thoroughly mistaken”. “I just asked my travel agents, where we are going?” he explained to reporters. “And they told me Warangal is a cool place to visit and I agreed. I went on my own bicycle. The officer is behaving as if I stole his ambassador car to travel.”

Meanwhile, the chief visa officer has another high profile application on his table. That of Jaganmohan Reddy. In 2010, KCR had thrown his visa application into the dustbin. When Jagan still persisted, KCR screened a violent film at Mahbubabad railway station, to scare him away. This time, there is speculation that if Jagan pays a hefty fine, KCR may say it is fine for him to visit Nizamabad.
