New Delhi : The UPA government has decided to start on a clean slate this Dasara. To achieve the purpose, everyone concerned has been asked to give a clean chit to at least one more member of the political establishment. At the end of this week-long exercise, Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh will address the nation and declare that his government is the cleanest-ever in the history of independent India.
It was with this in mind that Pranab Mukherjee was asked to give his “valued colleague” P Chidambaram a clean chit. But not everyone is falling in line.
